Successfully completing an ascent or an expedition is first and foremost a personal accomplishment. But it is what you do with this success that makes it meaningful, the things you do for those around you, for our community. Commitment has always been essential for Bernard: sharing his experiences, giving back more than he has received, and supporting other causes dear to his heart.
His main causes are environmental protection and working with young people.
