The Governor General of Canada invited Bernard Voyer as well as 24 other members of the Order of Canada to take part in her 2010 Mentorship Program. The program allowed young people to express their views and be taken seriously and encourage the support of youth initiatives.
He followed in the footsteps of Jérôme Turcotte Routhier, today a lawyer with a leading Montréal firm, who maintained an exemplary academic record while playing elite sports.
