Nathalie Tremblay holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Management, Advertising and Art History. She has managed to combine her two passions, for business and culture, in her current position as the Chief Executive Officer for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.
In 1996, she and her husband, Bernard Voyer, founded a firm dedicated to living out their common love of adventure and to sharing their experiences through the lectures given by Bernard around the globe.
Over the past 16 years, she has devoted herself to arranging the financing and logistics for Bernard’s expeditions, including his treks across Antarctica and Greenland, climbing Mount Everest and the highest summit on every continent. She also joined him as a climbing partner on numerous ascents, including Aconcagua, Vinson, McKinley, Elbrus, Barbeau, Chimborazo, Cotopaxi and Kilimanjaro, and in the Alps, the Rockies and crossing Baffin Island.
Their joint and sincere commitment to using their life of adventure to make a difference in the lives of young people has led to many different initiatives, including talks to school groups, expeditions and adventures involving young people, contributions to textbooks and, more personally, as a member of an advisory committee for a youth foundation.
Nathalie has won many awards and distinctions for her artistic work, as well as for her sports exploits, as Canadian silver medal windsurfing champion (1987) and Quebec champion from 1983 to 1987. She was also the first Quebec woman to reach the summits of Mounts Elbrus and Vinson and has stood atop four of the highest summits on the seven continents.
